This page tells you the terms on which you may use our website www.educators-hub.com and mobile application as an Educational User (defined below), whether registered or as a guest. Please read carefully before use.
By using the site and/or app, you accept the terms and agree to abide by them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site or app, and please do not become a registered user.
- Definitions
This section sets out the definitions assigned to certain capitalised terms within these terms.
“app” means the mobile application associated with the site.
“Educational User” means schools or educational organisations that use the site or app;
“the Regulations” means The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations 2003 (as amended); and
“site” means www.educators-hub.com.
- Who We Are and What We Do
www.educators-hub.com is operated by Educators Hub Limited, a UK Limited company registered in England under company number 11613563.

We provide a service through which Educational Users can match candidates to employment vacancies. These employment vacancies include teaching and non-teaching staff. We are an employment agency only, and do not offer any additional services to this. In the event we wish to offer more services in the future, we will update these terms to accommodate this.
- Use of the Site and App
You have permission for temporary use of the site and of the app, but we can withdraw or change our service at any time without telling you and without being legally responsible to you.
You must treat all identification codes, passwords and other security information as confidential. If we think you have failed to keep confidentiality, we reserve the right to cancel or decline your online account and access to the site and app without providing a reason for this.
If you allow anyone else to use our site or app, you must make sure that they read these terms first, and that they follow them.
Only use the site or app as allowed by law and these terms. If you fail to abide by these terms, we may suspend your usage, or stop it completely.
We frequently update the site and app, and make changes to them, but we do not have to do this, and material on the site or app may be out-of-date. No material on the site or on the app is intended to contain advice, and you should not rely on it. We exclude all legal responsibility and costs for reliance placed on the site or app by anyone.
We follow our privacy policy in handling information about you. You can read our policy at [insert link].
By using the site and/or app, you agree to us handling this information and confirm that data you provide is accurate.
Failure to provide accurate and honest data (about your organisation) may/will result in your online account and access to the site or app being cancelled.
When an Educational User advertises a vacancy on the site, the following information will be required and published on the site and on the app, in accordance with The Regulations:
- Company name, trading name and nature of business
- Intended start date and intended duration of work
- Position and type of work
- Location and hours of work
- Experience, training and qualifications, including authorisations, necessary
- Expenses payable by or to you
- Minimum rate of pay and other benefits, and frequency of payment
- Notice period for termination of employment
- Job role (person) specification
It is the responsibility of the Educational User to ensure the information provided on the site and app is complete, accurate and up-to-date. We do not have a contractual relationship with the candidates from an employment perspective. If you proceed with interviewing and/or employing a candidate, you as an Educational User are responsible for any and all employment matters including employment contracts.
For data protection purposes, the candidate is providing a general confirmation that you are permitted to contact them to discuss any vacancies you may have available. Following registration on the site and/or app, you may use any of the site’s and app’s features to contact the candidates. Please see section 7 below for more information on your data protection obligations.
Candidates are requested to upload a CV and provide some other personal information (including experience and desired roles, to help match candidates to vacancies). We do not provide any guarantee or warranty as to the integrity or the accuracy of the information that candidates provide. We accept no liability for candidates that may be unsuitable for any vacancy.
You are responsible for checking and confirming the following in respect of candidates:
- Criminal record information
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks
- Qualified Teacher Status with the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA)
- Department for Education checks
- That candidates have not been barred from teaching by any regulatory body
- That candidates are not currently under or pending investigation or disciplinary processes by a current or former employer
- That candidates are not on the sexual offenders register or list 99 (operated by the Department for Education)
- Any other employment and regulatory checks that may be required for a particular role
We accept no responsibility for any checks on candidates or the content of those checks.
As our number one priority is protecting the safety and wellbeing of children, we may, at any time, perform our own checks on candidates. However, we are not required to disclose the results of these checks to you and you are not permitted to rely on our screening at any time.
It is your responsibility to provide candidates with accommodation or to help with travel costs where required.
If you sign up as an employment agency or other recruitment business, you must include this information on your profile on the site/app. We may exercise our discretion to cancel or decline your registration at any time.
You agree to provide reviews of the candidates as and when we request this, and you agree not to knowingly provide false, inaccurate or misleading information in such reviews. Candidates will also be requested to provide reviews. Reviews from Educational Users and candidates will only be visible to the candidate and other Educational Users, and we will otherwise keep these reviews as confidential information. Reviews will also be used by us to determine whether you are using the site and/or the app in accordance with our standards on acceptable use.
You agree to promptly provide us with information that we may request in order to fulfil our record-keeping obligations under law and regulation.
You are required, at all times, to uphold and comply with child safeguarding procedures set by the Department for Education and to abide by anti-discrimination and equal opportunities legislation.
- Payment
Payment will be made via the membership plan, which the Educational User will sign up and agree to pay upon registration on the app or site.
Membership plans are for 3-month, 6-month or 12-month periods (the “Membership Period”). Payment for the full Membership Period shall be made in full for the relevant plan period prior to an Educational User’s membership becoming active, and may be made via bank transfer, cheque, debit/credit card or PayPal.
- Intellectual Property Rights
We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the site and in the app (for example the copyright and any rights in the designs) and in any of the material posted on them. They are protected by copyright.
You are allowed to print one copy and download extracts of any page on the site or the app for your personal reference, but not for commercial use without a licence from us. You must not alter anything, or use any illustrations, video, audio or photographs separately from the text that goes with them.
If you breach these terms, you lose your right to use our site or our app, and must destroy or return any copies you have made.
- Confidentiality and Data Protection
You give your consent to us to share with candidates any information provided by you under these terms or when using the site/app to advertise vacancies.
You agree that while you are a Educational User of the site/app, and for all time thereafter, you will not use or disclose to any person any information which is identified as confidential or is the personal data of any candidate.
We are the data controller under these terms. The provisions of this section 7 shall apply to you as data processor.
We shall ensure that we have compliant fair processing notices, and where necessary consents, in place to enable the lawful transfer to and processing by you of the Shared Personal Data for the Agreed Purposes.
You shall, in relation to the Shared Personal Data processed by you in connection with the performance of these terms:
(a) process the Shared Personal Data only on the written and lawful instructions of us (unless you are required by the Data Protection Law to process the Shared Personal Data in which case you shall promptly notify us before doing so unless prevented by the Data Protection Law);
(b) ensure that all personnel who have access to and/or process the Shared Personal Data are obliged to keep the Shared Personal Data confidential;
(c) ensure that it has in place appropriate technical and organisational security measures as required by the Data Protection Law;
(d) assist us in responding to any request from a data subject and in ensuring compliance with our obligations under the Data Protection Law with respect to security, breach notifications, impact assessments and consultations with supervisory authorities or regulators;
(e) notify us without undue delay on becoming aware of a personal data breach and assist us with our Data Protection Law obligations in respect thereof taking into account the nature of the processing and information available to it;
(f) at our written direction, delete or return the Shared Personal Data and copies thereof to us on termination of these terms unless required by the Data Protection Law to store the Shared Personal Data; and
(g) maintain complete and accurate records and information to demonstrate its compliance with the above and allow for audits by us or our designated auditor.
You shall not transfer any Shared Personal Data outside the European Union without the prior approval of us.
In respect of the Shared Personal Data:
(a) the scope, nature, purpose and duration of processing;
(b) the types of personal data and
(c) the categories of data subject; are as set out in this section or in, or agreed under these terms.
In this section 7:
(a) Agreed Purposes: means the processing necessary for the performance of these terms as identified herein;
(b) data subject, personal data, personal data breach, processor and processing: are as defined in the GDPR (and process and process shall be construed accordingly);
(c) Data Protection Law: means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act (as amended or replaced) and any other applicable data protection or electronic privacy laws, regulations and decisions in force from time to time;
(d) Permitted Recipients: means the parties to these terms and (as necessary) the employees, personnel and advisers of each party and third parties engaged to perform obligations in connection with these terms; and
(e) Shared Personal Data: means the personal data to be shared between the parties as necessary for the performance of these terms as identified herein.
- Our Legal Responsibility to You
We do not guarantee the accuracy of material on our site. As far as legally possible, we exclude legal responsibility for the following:
- Any loss to you arising from use of our site or app
- Loss of income, profit, business, data, contracts, goodwill or savings
We also exclude, as far as legally possible, all terms and warranties or promises implied by law or by statutes.
We do not exclude legal responsibility for death or personal injury owing to our negligence, or legal responsibility for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else where exclusion is not allowed by the law.
- Uploading to our Site or our App
If you contact other users of our site/app or upload material to it, you must use the site/app in an acceptable manner. You agree to reimburse us for any costs or expenses we incur as a result of any breach of this term.
Material that you upload will be regarded as non-confidential and not owned. This means that we can copy it, distribute it, and show it to other people for any purpose. You agree that if anyone else claims to own the material, or says that it breaches their rights, we can give them your identity.
We will not be legally responsible to anybody for the accuracy of material that you upload to the site or the app, and we can remove it at any time if we think it doesn’t comply with our standards on acceptable use.
- Computer Offences
If you do anything which is a criminal offence under a law called the Computer Misuse Act 1990, your right to use the site and the app will end straightaway. We will report you to the relevant authorities and give them your identity.
Examples of computer misuse include introducing viruses, worms, Trojans and other technologically harmful or damaging material.
You must not try to get access to our site, app or server or any connected database or make any ‘attack’ on the site or the app. We will not be legally responsible to you for any damage from viruses or other harmful material that you pick up via our site or through use of the app.
- Termination
Either of us can terminate your registration on the side at any time, without notice, and for any reason without liability for repayment of any money paid.
At any time, without reason and without notice, we may also:
- Remove any content you published on the site or on the app;
- Verify information by asking you for certain documentation; and
- Take steps to terminate or suspend your use of the site and/or the app if we believe you have failed to comply with any of these terms.
- Links to Our Site or App
You are allowed to make a legal link to our website’s homepage, or to our app, from your website if the content on your site meets our standards of acceptable use. We can end this permission at any time.
You must not suggest any endorsement by us or association with us unless we agree in writing.
- Links From Our Site or Our App
Links from our site or app to other websites are for information only. We do not control them and do not accept responsibility for other websites, apps or any materials found upon them or any loss you suffer from using them.
- Variation
We change these terms from time to time and you must check them for changes because they are binding on you.
- Applicable Law
15.1 The Parties will use their best efforts to negotiate in good faith and settle any dispute that may arise out of or relate to this Agreement or any breach of it.
15.2 Any dispute shall not affect the Parties’ ongoing obligations under the Agreement.
15.3 The English courts have the only right to hear claims related to our site or our app, and all disputes are governed by English law.

- Mobile number (this will not be provided to Educational Users but will be retained by us in accordance with data protection rules and regulations)
- Employment history
- Your CV
- QTS, TRA QTLS number or equivalent teacher reference number.
- Personal profile photograph (optional)
- Qualifications, skills and other relevant achievements
- Current salary
- Nationality
- Current location of residence
- Age (Date of Birth)
It is your responsibility to ensure the information provided on the site/app is complete, accurate and up-to-date. We do not have a contractual relationship with you from an employment perspective. The Educational User is responsible for carrying out certain legal and regulatory checks on you, including but not limited to criminal records information and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.

If you require accommodation or travel costs, the Educational User as your potential employer is responsible for these, and not us.
Educational Users will usually carry out reference checks on your previous employment and may contact your previous employers. This is standard practice and candidates may or may not be asked prior consent before reference checks are made by Educational Users.
You agree to provide reviews of the Educational Users as and when we request this, and you agree not to knowingly provide false, inaccurate or misleading information in such reviews. Educational Users will also be requested to provide reviews. Reviews from Educational Users and candidates will only be visible to you and Educational Users, and we will otherwise keep these reviews as confidential information. Reviews will also be used by us to determine whether you are using the site and/or the app in accordance with our standards on acceptable use.

The site/app, and use of the site or the app to view and apply for job adverts, is free of charge to Candidates. We reserve the right to change this at any time. If we do so, we will amend these terms and contact you to let you know that the service requires payment.
- Intellectual Property Rights
